Sansevieria boncel is a cultivar of Sansevieria, also known as snake plant or mother-in-law's tongue. It is a small and slow-growing variety, typically reaching no more than 6 inches in height, with thick, cylindrical leaves that are dark green in colour with light gray-green horizontal stripes.
At night your Snake Plant absorbs carbon dioxide and releases oxygen, this is a reversal of the process most plants undergo. Think about potting a couple and keeping them in your bedroom for a slight oxygen boost while you sleep.

Lighting: Snake Plants do best in moderate to bright indirect light. However, they will do fine in low-light areas and can also withstand full sun.
-
Watering: Your Snake Plant does not need much water, and overwatering can cause rot. Be sure to allow the soil to dry in between waterings. During the winter, reduce watering down to once a month.
Sansevieria boncel is known for being a low-maintenance and hardy plant that can tolerate a wide range of light conditions and is relatively resistant to pests and diseases. It is a popular choice for small indoor spaces such as terrariums or as a desk plant.
Like other snake plants, Sansevieria boncel is also believed to have air-purifying properties and can help to remove toxins such as formaldehyde, benzene, and xylene from the air.
